STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; and 2 Peter 1:19-21).
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons. God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16,17; 1 John 5:6,7).
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His
sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His
bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in his
personal return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. (Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 7:26, 27; Acts 4:12; Romans 4:1-9, 5:1-11; Ephesians 1:3-14; Luke 24:39-43; John 20:24-29; Acts 1:10,11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; James 5:8; Revelation 1:7).
We believe in the blessed hope-- the rapture of the church at Christ's coming. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 5:4).
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance
and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (1 John 1:7; Hebrews 9:14; Gal. 5:5).
We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for
personal salvation. (John 1:12,13; John 3: 5, 6; Titus 3:5).
We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the
human body in answer to believing prayer. (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14-16; 1 Corinthians 12:9; Mark 11:23,24).
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to
believers who ask for it. (Acts 2:4, 10:44-47, 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 14).
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling
the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (Eph. 5:26; 1 Thess. 4:3-7; Romans 12:1,2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:12).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to
everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. (Revelation 20:11-15).
We believe in divine healing through faith and that healing is provided in
the atonement. (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14-16; 1 Corinthians 12:9; Mark 11:23,24).
We believe the nine (9) gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in I. Cor. 12 are
available to believers today and are in accordance with the Great Commission
with signs following. (1 Corinthians 14; Mark 11:23,24).
We believe we are obligated to maintain spiritual love and union toward all
true Christians who may not accept all of these doctrinal points and welcome
them to our meetings. (Acts 10:34,35; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; 1 John 1:7; I John 4:7,8).
